These emotions are what make musicians great. From our own emotions to those of the audience. Interplay of giving and getting. The constant exchange of vibes. Unbroken exchange of vibes.
It could be that musicians are also interested to receive applause or recognition. Because a musician is an hero just like any other, and they want to be known and heard. It doesn’t have to lead to fame, or a lifelong career. Sometimes, just a smile can suffice. Also for listening, celebrating, thinking. Money? That would be fine. But, it’s impossible to plan and that’s not what’s important. It’s more about the greatness in music.
Music can transform enemies into friends, and it can cross borders. It can bring justice to the world and unite people from all walks of society. It can rise up and speak out, place its finger directly on grievances, and then take people into its protective arms.
Music can reach parts of our inner psyche that are not visible to us. It brings back past experiences and plays them for you again, giving you the feeling of those long-forgotten times. It can be used to treat or alleviate symptoms, and it can even make the impossible possible.
There will always be a way. You will be amazed at the power music has, and the amazing things it can do.
